"On a quest to be the Best"

What We Teach

Black Belt Attitude

Children in our Karate programme have got it and they know what it means! The attitude of never giving up, giving it your best and striving with all the energy in your mind and body!

Being proud of these accomplishments gives our students confidence and high self-esteem, just what a child needs to excel at school and in day to day life.

We don’t just teach kicking and punching, WE TEACH LIFE SKILLS!

Curriculum

Our programme is designed in conjunction with experts in the field of education to provide social, physical, emotional, and attitudinal growth.

How Karate Will Benefit Your Child

Our programme works hand in hand with a child’s schoolwork, providing improved self-discipline, self-confidence, mental alertness and goal-setting skills. At Fusion Martial Arts, our students are taught that through dedication and hard work, all worthwhile goals in life are possible. Parents have attributed our programme with improved grades as a direct result of the increased achievement, motivation, self-direction and self-confidence provided by our programme.

Goal Setting

It is important for each child to learn to set short-term, intermediate, and long-term goals.

At Fusion, every child’s goal is the Black Belt - a symbol of excellence in martial arts and an important tool for instructors and parents to use for developing desire, tenacity, and for teaching the importance of follow-through in any activity.

Emphasis On Schoolwork

All Children in the programme are encouraged to bring copies of their school reports and certificates to class and are awarded with the presentation of an ‘Academic Achievement’ badge to be sewn on to their uniform. We also use a range of reward badges that the children work towards which help to enforce our life skills portion of the curriculum.

At Fusion no one has to sit on the bench

Karate is not a team sport, the only person that you are competing with is ‘Yourself’. We understand that each student is different. Some students are in shape, while others are over weight. Some come for self defence, some for fitness and others for fun. Each person is treated equally, and is trained to the best of their own ability and potential. A student is never compared to anyone else. At Fusion our instructors are there to guide, instruct, and motivate your child to be the best that they can be!
